Big Question: Would You Drug Test Your Kids?
You probably have years to think about this one, but it’s a doozy. Would you take a sample of your child's hair to see if he’s been doing drugs? A new home drug test, Hair Confirm, does just that. You collect the hair strands and send them off in the enclosed mailer and testing concludes if the subject has taken drugs like cocaine, amphetamines and marijuana in the past 90 days. For $64.99, you can also determine how frequently the subject is using drugs. It’s 99.9% accurate and according to the Web site, impossible to fake.
The testing is confidential. You don't give them any information at all. So that's one thing you don't have to worry about. One parent said that just by putting Hair Confirm on the table, she and her son were able to start talking about his drug use.
Chances are by the time you might be faced with this issue, testing will be even easier, cheaper and more commonplace.
